Your Bridge to the Future of Dietetics
Develop culturally sensitive, entry-level dietitians who identify needs and opportunities to successfully promote and manage health, wellness, and sustainability within diverse communities.
Goal 1: The program will prepare graduates to successfully pass the Registration Examination for Dietitians.
Objective 1: At least 80% of program students complete program requirements within 12 months (150% of program length).
Objective 2: 80% of program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.
Objective 3: The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
Objective 4: 80% of graduates will be able to summarize the benefits of cultural sensitivity to promote health equity in the nutrition and dietetics community.
Goal 2: The program will prepare graduates who will be employed in the profession of nutrition and dietetics.
Objective 1: Of graduates who seek employment, 80% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.
Objective 2: Employers will rate 80% of program graduates as “proficient” as entry-level professionals during their first year of employment in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
Objective 3: 80% of employers will agree graduates are professional and sensitive to cultural differences among their clients.
